Remodeling FA Company 1 LLC is a small metro Atlanta design-and-remodeling company founded in 2020 by Fernando, who is originally from Mexico City. It was built on precision tile work and an eye for design — turning dated bathrooms into spa-like rooms with custom showers, frameless glass and coordinated finishes.

He still works hands-on on every project. The company name is on the truck, but what people actually hire is one person’s standard of work.

How we work, and why it looks different

Four things decide whether a bathroom looks designed or assembled. None of them are expensive. All of them are easy to skip.

  • Design and build, not one or the other

    Most contractors build what you hand them, and most designers hand over a drawing and leave. We do both, which means the layout gets tested against what is actually behind the wall before it is ever drawn up — and the person who chose the tile is the person who has to make it land right at the ceiling.

  • The details are the job

    Straight grout lines. A niche that is level and centered on the tile, not just on the wall. A glass panel that meets the wall the whole way down. Transitions that you do not catch with your foot. None of it costs more to do properly, it just takes someone who cares which way the pattern runs.

  • The same person, start to finish

    This is a small company on purpose. The person who comes out to measure your bathroom is the person who builds it, which is why there is never a gap between what was promised at the estimate and what turns up on site.

  • In English or in Spanish

    Se habla español. Estimates, selections, scheduling and the day-to-day questions can all happen in Spanish — which, for a lot of our clients in metro Atlanta, is the difference between understanding their own remodel and nodding along to it.
